In my artwork, I delve into the complex relationship between the human body and existence, addressing themes like physical violence, verbal assault, bulimia, and death. Central to my expression is the "phantom body," a concept capturing the tension between tangible reality and the inner psyche through body deformation and transformation. This approach seeks the essence of being, contrasting the physical weight of flesh with sharp lines that reflect internal chaos and societal judgments.
Using symbolism and metaphor, my pieces explore personal struggles and self-discovery. The color palette, with deep, unified tones and vivid lines, symbolizes a mask hiding inner pain, critiquing society's focus on appearances over emotional depth.Try it!
