Ghost is an interpretation of the shdows of the psyche. That which exists within the subconscious of humans. Its the buried unwanted parts of ourselves that often wears the mask of the force persona. 
Ghost also represents the ethereal dimension of ghosts in their light body often seen once the individual has left the earth plan. Its the energetic fragment of someone who comes back to deal with unfinished business or haunt a place for various reasons.
My aspect of the ghosts of time emerged from creating theatrical ghost costumes out of rags in various fabrics. Which I then used for performance art, filmed & photgraphed in an interactive art project of willing participants. 
Its an expression of the inbetween world,  the unsolid in nature, that has been translated into an art form.
They can be  funny,  frightening, macarb, they are just expressions of what individuals portray whilst wearing the costumes & an interpretation by the viewer.

In these images, home is experienced, reflected, and imagined simultaneously. This collection is a meditation on continuity, in which home emerges less as a fixed idea than as a living condition, a sense of self, and a space that extends beyond the frame.

El nieto de El Persia es realmente Roberto Abajo, quien lleva por segundo apellido un
no tan usual Brázquez, el verdadero apellido de su abuelo materno, desconocedor éste
del dialogo con la pintura entablado en la actualidad por su nieto pequeño. De raíces
onubenses, serranas y mineras, tierras donde el arte siempre anidó. Aquella huella
bajo el mote El Persia, que acuñó en 1927, cobra hoy valor por quien se plantea el arte
con la máxima honestidad rememorando la figura de su abuelo. Un salto en el tiempo
generacional para sentir la nobleza y plasticidad de quien trata la expresión interior
manifestada con sencillez a través del color.

In Strengths Do Not Shout Loudly, Sonia J. presents ten large-scale canvases from her collection The Rain Doesn’t Cry, where emotion becomes texture and silence turns into color.

Through layered acrylics, sand, and gesso, Sonia transforms inner storms into luminous surfaces that evoke both fragility and endurance. Her paintings speak of resilience that does not need to prove itself — strength found in stillness, beauty born from surrender.

The works invite us to slow down, to feel rather than analyze, to listen to what strength sounds like when it stops shouting.

Because sometimes, the most powerful voices are whispered through texture, light, and presence.

W 1971 roku amerykański psycholog Paul Ekman przeprowadził wraz ze swoim zespołem badania na papuańskim plemieniu Fiore, dotyczące ekspresji stanów emocjonalnych. Zweryfikował on dzięki nim tezę, wyrażoną sto lat wcześniej przez Karola Darwina w dziele „The expression of the emotions in man and animals” (1872), o uniwersalności ekspresji emocji u przedstawicieli gatunku ludzkiego. Ekman wykazał, że dysponujemy sześcioma podstawowymi formami ekspresji, mimo że samych emocji istnieje oczywiście znacznie więcej. Dowiódł przy tym, że ekspresja, choć zdeterminowana zarówno biologicznie, jak i kulturowo, opiera się na solidnym ewolucyjnym, a więc i adaptacyjnym, fundamencie.

Revelation

Minimalism in photography engages the intellect as much as the eye. Vision is distilled to its purest form, where composition becomes an enquiry into proportion, space and stillness. By removing distraction, it reveals the architecture of perception. What remains is not emptiness but clarity, a concentrated encounter that rewards attentiveness over immediacy. Drawing from modern and abstract art, this approach challenges conventional notions of representation.

Absence is treated as an active element, allowing silence, rhythm and structure to assert quiet authority. Each image embraces deliberate reduction, opening a contemplative space in which even the smallest gesture carries the potential for profound resonance.

THE COLOR CARBON

Black and white photography collapses the world into a language of tone and shadow, transforming each image into a careful study of surfaces, edges, and the spaces between. The medium privileges observation over explanation. Surfaces retain a physical presence that demands attention, yet understanding is never imposed. In this quiet space, details emerge gradually, and the eye learns to read contrast, texture, and form with deliberate attentiveness.

Shadows are active and dynamic, shaping forms while dissolving the certainties the eye might bring. Black and white allows the image to exist in tension, embracing ambiguity without surrendering its internal logic. Here, the photograph becomes a dialogue between presence and absence, illuminating what appears while preserving the mystery of what slips away.
