Project Description:
A series born from the witness of trees being felled, in an attempt to capture their cry and energy, a tribute to the fallen roots in my hometown. Red and black implemented as tools to bring intensity and capture the tree's movements.
Trees stand as silent witnesses to the passage of time, holding within their trunks the memories of soil. Their sprawling branches offer sanctuary and shade. The trees hold cross-cultural values, no matter the ethnicity, gender or any other factor. Through DYNASTY, I seek to celebrate the values of trees within urban landscapes, elevating them from mere fixtures of scenery to vital elements of pause and reflection amid the monotony of daily life
This set of paintings offer the memories of trees to the viewer, through the exploration of their treeness one can observe the abstraction taking shape and follow their own imagination to give it meaning.Try it!
