Project Description:
The approach to painting swarms with contradictions; there is structure to the chaos of mixing my colours and serenity within the fast-paced application of paint. My brain works best when challenged, and juxtaposition within a piece is a challenge I strive for in order to fabricate what was once a combustion of ideas, into a stream of thoughts. The point of interest stems from the motif of harmony within my work: a cacophony of brush strokes, colour, and form strike in parallel yet converse with one another and become a beam of expression that cohabitate in a shared space. In utilising the titles of each piece to express this idea of conversing, my work lingers on the notion of layered meanings- what the viewer seeks from each piece seeps intoTry it!
