Half Dome icefall
Description
Valentines Day, 2010. A nice lunch at the Ahwahnee and walk out to the Merced river. My wife and I enjoyed the nature and beauty of Half Dome in the background. After 20 minutes or so...I was just about to say, "let's go"...when "the voice" said, "you should look at Half Dome one more time". So I repeated the order...and we turned to see ice begin to fall off the sides of the peak And then... the whole slide began... right in front of my camera. "Holy Moment" is my best description of this event.Try it!
