Artist Statement/ Bio
Born in 1981 in Kasachstan.
Immigration to Germany in 1998.
From 2004 Studies of Fine Art at Bremen Hochschule für Künste and graduation in 2009.
Since 2005 numerous group exhibitions in Germany and in other european countries.
Solo exhibitions in Berlin and Hamburg.
Since 2013 living and working in Berlin
2018 winner of the "Rospigliosi Art Prize", Zagarolo / Rome.
The exposure to different cultures and languages as well as political systems has served my interest in the
depiction of transition of the formal and content boundaries of the painterly reproducible.
Since 2009 I dedicate my practise to the disciplines and demands of mixed media painting, painted
mostly with acrylic on silk. With this technique I create different levels in a painting, which are entering into
a dialogue.Try it!
