Description
“As a retired professor of literature, I now have more time for my lifelong hobby: photography. I see it as a medium for individually reinterpreting the principles and possibilities of various visual arts, primarily painting and drawing. I enjoy emphasising the humour and charm they suggest. "Colors, Lines, and Spaces of Malaga" was taken in the Old Town of Malaga, Spain, just behind the famous Picasso Museum. Two chefs hurry back to work at a well-known restaurant around the corner. Posters promoting the creation of a nearby Sephardic history museum hint at Malaga’s rich cultural life. The vibrant energy of the Old Town; its blend of geometric and organic forms, the contrast between a modern mural and the historic surroundings, and the subtly enigmatic smirk of a face with distinctly Spanish features creates a truly dynamic and compelling composition.”
