"Shoreline Playground 11."
Description
"I use photography to tell stories that honor the spirit of everyday life and landscapes; centering people and places often overlooked, and capturing the emotional texture of lives
in motion and moments that resonate beyond the frame. Rooted in documentary, fine art, and portraiture, my practice weaves together visual poetry and lived reality. I approach the sea not just as a setting, but as a character; shaping memory, solitude, and connection. In my series Shoreline Playground, I explore how bodies, borders, and belonging are held in conversation with water. Taken along the Atlantic coast in Mauritania, West Africa, these images reflect scenes of youth at play, reflection, and spiritual stillness; where joy and complexity meet at the water’s edge. Through these images, I seek to elevate the quiet, expansive power of the sea as both sanctuary and global stage. It is where breath returns, where stories surface, and where we are reminded of our own tides."Try it!
