Yellow Bouy

Lundy Island lies off the coast of North Devon, where the Atlantic ocean meets the Bristol Channel with nothing between it and America, a granite outcrop, three miles long and half a mile wide. In the hubbub of the modern world, it is a place apart, peaceful and unspoiled. The painting is framed in a box frame measuring 25 x 25 cm and 4.5cm depth; the piece measures 12 x 12cm. Pastel and Charcoal.

Estuary

Springalonga,Crete is an original pastel drawing on the infamous island housing a 20th century Leper Colony featured in Victoria Hisplop's "The Island'. Now an eerie but bustling tourist attraction only accessed by boat, the scars left by decades of isolation are still very visible. Part of a four piece collection of seascapes.
