My pictures tell stories, with bright colours and threads of humour and fantasy, running through them. Threads, literally, because sewing images onto the canvas is my starting point, before adding layers of acrylic paint

My work touches on adult preoccupations and concerns, but in a naive and humorous way. Over time, I have developed my own technique of stitching the canvas, and layering on acrylic paint, to create drama, bringing my pictures to life, and giving them a slight 3D effect. I am currently working on an exhibition of “should” and “should nots”. A price list is available on request. I only sell my work from my studio, galleries, or exhibitions.
