Adriatic Sea

The beauty of the Adriatic Sea - painted with light - as seen by fine art & portrait photographer Olaf Siebert Between Croatia and Italy lies the Adriatic Sea, gorgeous blue with thousands of islands. Sometimes rough, often peaceful, always beautiful. As a portrait photographer, my approach to the Adriatic is the same: I sculpture the sea with light, I paint with light to capture the beauty. The process takes time though: one image can take up to one hour to prepare, and then several minutes to take. Printing will only be done on canvas, as this fits the light paintings, the pastel colours, the softness. Prices range from 100 euro to 500 euro for regular prints on canvas (max 60x60cm) and can be bought via the 'shopify' link above. For limited editions you need to contact me directly. Limited editions are printed on a canvas of 100x100cm and limited to 10 prints only, whereas the first edition is kept for exhibitions.
